

I have a background in theater, having earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts at Simon Fraser University in Canada. After a decade in the arts, I pursued a Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy at California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. I completed the two year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
Professional experience
Following my education, I dedicated over 15 years to community mental health, specializing in supporting youth and families. During this time, I worked as a clinician and held various leadership roles as a clinical supervisor, manager, and director.

Therapeutic Approach
Believing in the power of the therapeutic relationship, I aim to meet each client where they are, supporting them in bringing forth their best selves. My compassionate and empathetic approach focuses on unlocking inner resources for healing and resilience. I studied Expressive Arts Therapy and have a passion for Person Centered Therapy. My work is informed by Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy with a strength-based and trauma informed lens.
Ongoing Learning and Spiritual Practice
I am committed to lifelong learning and personal growth, as evidenced by my completion of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training program. Additionally, my regular spiritual practice and involvement in women's groups enrich my therapeutic approach. In 2024, I completed A Year to Live program at Spirit Rock amongst other ongoing continuing education.

My dedication to lifelong learning and community connection shapes both my personal and professional life, making me a transformative force in the field. I believe in community and have served on various boards over the past twenty years. I enjoy an active lifestyle with friends and family such as; bike riding, time in nature, travel and music.
